Celebrating with Sawyer

We've been very busy with weddings but I wanted to make sure to post a few images from a portrait session Betsy and I did last week with Sawyer and his mom Ticia.
We photographed Ticia and Scott's wedding some time back on their land on Pilot Mountain near Winston-Salem. They are a great couple who are both doctors in Winston.
But they are also farmers (they left their wedding on a John Deere Gator) and they love spending time on their land, where they plan to build a house in the near future.
Well, the fruit didn't fall too far from the tree as young Sawyer, who is preparing to celebrate his first birthday, was at his best while playing on his little wooden tractor in his Carhartt overalls outside our studio in Davidson.
We did a few more formal shots inside the studio but we had the most fun outside.
It's always great when you are able to establish relationships with clients and we really appreciate Scott and Ticia.
And thanks to Ticia's dad who came to help out too!
